Techno-Dystopic Book Club 📚

Skull wearing eyeglasses, above the caption 'read or die' spelled out over two bookmarks

In recent years, I've noticed an uptick in the number of mainstream techno-criticism books being published — or perhaps it's just that I started paying attention. Either way, it prompted me to work my way back up the chain to try to find an origin point for the contemporary techno-critique, and then work my way back down chronologically. I remember some of these from back when they were published, but many are completely new to me. I will note them down here for reference as I come across them, with the intention of returning to the ones that I end up reading.
